Sanatan Goswami worshipped the deity with great devotion while living a simple life in Vrindavan. A popular legend tells of a merchant whose boat became stranded in the Yamuna River. After praying to Madan Mohan Ji for help, the boat was freed. In gratitude, the merchant contributed to the construction of the magnificent temple that still stands today. Over the centuries, Madan Mohan Temple became an important center of Krishna devotion and remains one of the most sacred landmarks in Vrindavan. Devotees continue to visit the temple to seek blessings and connect with the spiritual legacy of the great saints of Braj.
